First and foremost, I really want to thank Deporte and Business and Centro Nacional Golf for hosting and making this event possible. 

Second, I learned a lot from the event. It confirmed something I had in mind for a few weeks, and now I know what I need to work on to really solidify my game. I have another pre-season event next week in Toledo, so I am currently doing some re-touch on my game. 

I hope to bring you some positive news soon! Thank you always.

First and foremost, happy new year!! Hope 2019 is filled with joy and success for all of you guys! Little about me, my goals, and purpose/ まほです！よろしくお願いします！

Hi, for those of you that don't know me, I'd like to give you a little introduction of myself. My name is Maho Hayakawa, I am a Japanese golfer playing tournaments around the world. I moved to Dubai when I was 7, and that's where I started playing golf with my family. I was lucky I got to continue playing the game; I moved to Japan and Mexico after I left Dubai, but both countries had good golfing environment (less so in Japan) and I was able to continue competing. I spent 2 years of high school at the Mike Bender Golf Academy in Lake Mary, Fl, training with Mike Bender. I just graduated from University of Virginia where I played on the golf team, and I turned professional right after I graduated, in 2018. For the past year and a half, I've been competing in Eggland's Golf Tour, Cactus Tour, Japan Ladies Circuit, and Japanese ATP tournaments. Updates from Japan・日本でゴルフ

Hi, hope you’re all having a good summer! I want to first apologize for not updating the blog frequently. My keypad on my laptop broke and with moving, practicing, adjusting to Japan, I had a hard time securing time to sit and write. A lot has happened since the last post-  first, I didn’t make it past 2nd stage of pro test in Japan :( It was really disappointing because I didn't play well at all, and when I think about it now,  I really didn't prepare for it the way I wanted to. I turned professional in May, and ever since then, I feel like I had too much going on and was never fully focused on the "present." I think the hardest thing about becoming a professional athlete is dealing with uncertainty. I think it's different if you already have status on some tour and have a set schedule, but as for now, I am trying to get status for the following season, so nothing is really set.
