March: 2 TORO Tour Events

Image
In March, I was able to compete in two 3-day tournaments on the Toro Tour.  Toro Tour is a new mini-tour in Malaga (South of Spain) for professionals seeking competition during the off-season. It is approximately a 6-hour drive from Madrid.  The first week, I played in Valle Romano, a beautiful venue in Estepona.  The weather was not favorable and the first day of the event was postponed. As a result, I ended up playing 32 holes and 22 holes in two days. It was a true golf marathon. The condition was difficult with gusty wind and occasional rain, but I was extremely grateful to get 3 rounds in.  The following week, I played another event in Azata Golf, right across Valle Romano. Another beautiful course, but extremely challenging with the wind despite being short.   I struggled a lot the first two days but was able to shoot -2 in the back nine on the last day.  There is definitely room for improvement, but I am happy I still have 2 months to work on my game until my official LETAS seas
