April: D&B Golf Tour at Centro Nacional

Image
April 27-28: 71-77 (T-15) First and foremost, I really want to thank Deporte and Business and Centro Nacional Golf for hosting and making this event possible.  Second, I learned a lot from the event. It confirmed something I had in mind for a few weeks, and now I know what I need to work on to really solidify my game. I have another pre-season event next week in Toledo, so I am currently doing some re-touch on my game.  I hope to bring you some positive news soon! Thank you always.

March: 2 TORO Tour Events

In March, I was able to compete in two 3-day tournaments on the Toro Tour.  Toro Tour is a new mini-tour in Malaga (South of Spain) for professionals seeking competition during the off-season. It is approximately a 6-hour drive from Madrid.  The first week, I played in Valle Romano, a beautiful venue in Estepona.  The weather was not favorable and the first day of the event was postponed. Metronome  A putting template is extremely helpful to work on the path and build awareness for the putter's face. I like templates more than a board or an arc because it builds feel from within. Working to follow the path and the face angle on the template teaches us the right feeling of the stroke. The most important objective of these putting aids is to build the correct feel and movement, and templates are the best gadgets to hone this.  I've used the Visio templates which I really liked, and right now, I am using the Martin Cummins putting template. I like this one because it has an arrow at the end, and it helps with my perception and correcting the eye-to-hole relationship.  I also like a mirror because sometimes my foot weight veers towards my heels throughout the stroke.
