Santander Cantabria: Pedreña

 Livescoring Cantabria

Santander Tour: 9/3-4

After a good few months without competition, the season is slowly starting back up.

My first (official) tournament after the quarantine was with the Santander Golf Tour.

Santander Golf Tour is a local Spanish tour sponsored by Banco Santander and Deporte Business. We played at Real Golf de Pedreña, a famous Spanish golf course where Seve Ballesteros himself picked up the game.

I shot 76-77 (+11) for the two-day tournament. I averaged 10 FW's, 9.5 greens, 40% up and down, and 31.5 putts. Looking solely at the numbers, I would say I struggled with my shots into greens and also with my approaches around the green, but the greens were extremely tough that when I missed my shots on the wrong side, saving par was close to impossible. Saying that I would love to get my long game, especially my 130-160 yard range dialed. I am very happy with my 10 fairways with my driver, however, because I was averaging 8 before and really wanted that to go up to at least 10.

Lastly, I want to thank Santander Golf Tour for hosting the event at such a complicated time, and also for Banco Santander and Deporte Business for their relentless support for women's golf. Real Golf de Pedreña was a beautiful course and I felt extremely blessed to play on such a well-maintenanced course.

The results may not be what I'd hoped for, but I am nonetheless grateful and happy with the progress I am making, thanks to Martin Cummins Golf and Alvaro Zerolo (DFISIO).

Thank you for all your support too, and hope you will stick with me through my journey! Major gratitude, thank you!
